Dr. Diana McQuirter
Dr. Diana McQuirter focuses on building warm, collaborative relationships with her patients. She enjoys working with people from a wide
range of backgrounds and sees each visit as a chance to listen closely, understand the full story, and tailor care to each person’s needs and
goals. Her approach is practical, compassionate, and evidence-based. She takes time to explain options clearly, invite questions, and make
sure patients feel like partners in every decision. Whether it is a long-overdue appointment or a routine visit, Dr. McQuirter strives to create
a calm, respectful environment where patients feel heard, supported, and never rushed.
Dr. McQuirter received her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. During
her undergraduate years, she worked in a University of Michigan dental research lab studying oral cancer, an experience that deepened her
commitment to the field and strengthened her foundation in the science behind clinical care. She also enjoys staying current with advances
in dental technology, including digital imaging and thoughtfully applied AI tools that support accurate diagnosis and patient education. She
is an active member of the Michigan Dental Association, the Oakland County Dental Society, and the American Dental Association.
Born and raised in Detroit, Dr. McQuirter explored her love of learning through math and science camps and was drawn to dentistry in high
school as the perfect blend of science, math, and art. Today, that same curiosity and attention to detail continue to shape her clinical work.
Dr. McQuirter is a loving wife and mother who believes in the importance of a healthy work–life balance and credits her family with instilling
in her the belief that dedication and hard work make anything possible. When she is not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with
her husband, Roderick, and their daughter, Iris. She loves long bike rides with her family and also enjoys painting, drawing, and
photography.
